How do you achieve depth in tag making?

Key to good Depth is

* Focus on the main thing example render.

* Either Blur other things like c4ds, bg, etc.

* Never blur the focal or make it feel left out or it will look bad.

how do i make HQ avys?

To make hq avys-

First of all, find a Hq Stock. If you have a low quality stock, chances are 9/10 times the avy is going to be low quality. If you have a medium quality stock, that might work under certain conditions.

Use Adjustments to increase the quality of the avatars.

Start with a brightness and contrast layer.

Then do a Vibrance layer

Use the Curves layer to distribute lighting accordingly

Color balance
and if you want more colors to stick out, use Selective Coloring.

Yes flow can go in different directions.

Example:
(Invalid img)
^By eva.

As you can see,she smudged the left and the right side of the render to create the flow.

No,it doesn't have to be flashy to be a 10.
PS:Rating doesn't matter.

Dodge and burn tool is the tool where you use to make a bright area darker.
This will help the depth of the tag.

If you are doing a vector, burn tool can also create shade.

Qoute:

That's easy. The dodge too is when you want to boost the light on the object
The Burn tool is when you want to darken the object.

Highlights, these are the colors that are the "lightest" ones of the batch. They are the ones mostly on top in the color picker. They're the more vibrant ones.

Midtones, it's in the name. Midtones are the colors that basically make up most of our pieces. They are the colors that are in the mid section of the color picker, they are neither too bright nor too dark

Shadows, simple. Self explanatory. Shadows are the darkest of the colors and the lowest in the color picker. They are the ones that can add more depth to the piece if used correctly.

To use it in the most effective way, you need to define your Natural light source. (Not making your own forced light source) Use your perspective, if the light from the LS is hitting the focal or any other effects, use the dodge tool and it's setting. If it's farther away, then the burn tool. Normally, when the LS' light is hitting the object, you use the dodge tool in midtone and highlight it a bit, then move on to the highlights. Same goes with the Burn tool. Although the highlight burn tool is never a good substitute if you want to burn your highlighted area. It looks awful.

well i would like some help
i lack in composition, execution and most of all atmosphere
tell me how to improve these and also give me an example
~super

well a lot of ppl lack in composition. so do i but in atmosphere and execution

the atmosphere should help the sig or render and things like effects belong there in the sig and not stick out.

the execution depends on whether u have the ability to finish the sig with your poit of view or how u wanted it to be and how well.

heres an example : NOT MINE.

some times you just let the texture burn and lower the opacity to make sure it doesn't ruin it.

No, sigs have to be well perfected in everything including flow, depth, and effects.

Not only effects.
