I think your Render/Stock is very Lq... find another one v.v They're a lot of house renders/stocks just look.

The Pentooling needs work. The hexagons are over sharpened, and the plus signs bring down the tag more then they bring it up. The flow needs to be more defined, and the depth could be improved. Lighting is not the best, but its alright.

My suggestions for you~
Find a HQ'er stock
Redo the hexagons and don't over sharpen them
Make some Pentool's going in the flows direction, without overdoing it.
Fill the sig up with more pentools v.v
Blend the render a little bit more.
Take out the +'s or Redo them.

here is the pentool tut i used.

I copied the tut its not my style to pentool.

Pentool tut

It was hard to follow actually cause of photoshop and me having gimp.:push but I still think the result could've been better

Mmmm, gimp equals photoshop in a lot of things but pentool is not one of them
agreed,so much harder in gimp to make good shapes/lines in pentool(paths)_

Whats the clone tool?
you pick an layer and clone it, ive tried the tool on brushes but i think forgot how to use.

munta's correct. If ya use it on brush, ya select a point to start cloning from. From then on, using the brush, ya can clone the selected picture starting from the start point. Explanation's a bit confusing but that's about it. Try it out and you'll see what I mean.

Ok I tried the clone tool and it almost looks like a circle when you want to clone.

I'll ignore the B&W because the only problem it has that the first doesn't is the contrast and lighting?

First of all, you should remove the text. All of it, including the small ones. If it's not pro, it WILL kill the tag. Next is that your colors are pretty bland. Get some more vibrance in there. The effects are good. But the extra Circle clipping mask is a bad touch. Add up a few texture work in there to make it less boring once you've removed the text. Something like cracks and cement textures. Also, you should try adding more adjustment layers that can make your focal standout a little more.

remove both the text. left side is pretty plain , colors are bland, only c4d try more and then erase some of the focal ot see if it fits or not k.

Ive never understood the concepts of depth and flow

From what Ive heard depth just goes into the concept of lighting and atmosphere and flow just seems to be a a dumbed down way to say composition

Am I right? if not mind explaining the differences?

^btw Im not a graphic designer Im just curious

That IS true. Depth IS about lighting and atmo. And Flow is also based on your compo, but not your entire compo. Because a sig can have good compo, but no flow at all.

NB/SB normally use these words to beginners/novices so that they can understand what they're trying to say better. I mean, if you present the concept of Atmosphere and Composition here, I'll bet you my soul that more than half of the Graphics makers here won't understand it at all.

hmm u use photoshop but i still kno how to answer tht question

First press the gradient tool and then set it to radial and black and any color ok.

Thn use the gradient tool on anything u want and thn this will work because you cannot set black to dodge so its not visible.

Th color should be in the middle and the black should be outside of the color surrounding it.

Here is my example
