what I like most about mushishi is it does not try to be deep at all
it's deliberately vague and kinda philosophical but unlike kino's journey it doesn't slap you around with "DO YOU GET IT IT'S A METAPHOR"
mushishi just tells you to take things as they are

kino's journey seems like it tries really hard to be deep
Depends what those words they never translate say.

Kino had words flash across the screen all the time, but it didn't bother to subtitle them.

Mushishi has high highs and low lows.

The Mushi bridge, Mushi kids and mountain God episodes actually made me focus on the show, instead of whatever game I was playing, but the phantom fire, scroll girl and coconut episodes were painfully uninteresting.

He just wanted her to be a traditional Japanese woman, but no.
The LeeNation Commander, The Sixx Lee: Soldier for Hire and Lover of Women
He doesn't just straddle the line between right and wrong, he anally dominates it.

The stunning art displayed here was conceived by the man, DuressedSuo.

The fire episode was an odd one.

This was an odd way to end the series, but I am not complaining.
