Scary movies are suck.
But some have a nice plot.

They have lost a lot of credibility over the past years, that's why i prefer classic horror films. Reason is most modern day horrors have very poor story lines and acting skills.

Horror movies are just repeating themselves. They take the same typical concepts and just change a couple things for the sake of creating another movie. In my opinion, thriller movies have more of a scare factor than horror movies. But I believe that comes from the horror movies trying too hard.
