Well, I wasn't paying attention and stepped on my phone. Now my screen is all black and the touch screen is unresponsive. Some other things I've noticed are:
- When I press the power button a small part of the upper right hand screen flashes but it looks "glitchy".
- The bottom keys still light up.

Help? Suggestions?

you have to lead somewhere where technicians have to help you, you probably broke the liquid crystal that has the phone for the toch work
this happened to my galaxy s4 now bought a iphone
good luck with your mobile recommend leaving in a corner without touching even lead in some specialized store

How much money do you guys think it'll cost to get it replaced or fixed? I've got about 55 on me right now but I'm 99% sure I'll have to do a little bit more saving.

150 reais is like 50 dollars

I think it will come cheap because you do not pay so many taxes we pay in Brazil

Well. If you dropped it prior to stepping on it, you could of dislodged the display connectors. You can YouTube how to open up the phone and fix it. However you may void your warranty.

If your phone is still under warranty, go to your local store and just say you picked up your phone and the screen stopped working and it's black but the light is still there etc. don't say it was accidental damage, just say it was just like that when you picked it up, they can repair it for free

If it's none of the above, save up for a phone repair.

Prepare a farewell speech, dig a grave and host a funeral for your phone.

I recall O2 having something like that a few years ago. You're better off using whatsapp. Get an android emulator and use that. Closest thing to using phone functions on a laptop.

If you have a Mac and an iPhone, you can send messages.
