Well, hello. Here I am with another story. This story will kind of dwell into three things. . . Love, Loyalty, and Lies. I think that banner said that already. XD
Anyway, please do not rip. I will post new chapters on new topics, but I will also add them here for previous reference.

The King's Son
Chapter One: Surprising News
The juvenile cautiously approached another kid. Unlike him, this kid was poorly dressed. He was dirty and grimy. He had long hair that smelled like burnt wood. Curious, the well-dressed child walked up to the unclean kid. He couldnt resist but to talk to him.
Hello, how are you? What is your name? Why are you here in my castle? I am Lionel, by the way. Lionel asked. Lionel was neatly dressed. He had an azure two-tailed coat on his back. On his finger was a golden ring with a symbol. He wore a dark cobalt vest.
The other kid bowed slowly. He gazed at Lionels feet, which wore expensive leather boots. He slowly gawked up again and saw that a sheathed dagger was on the rich kids side. He was too scared to answer. He looked back and suddenly ran off. He was stopped, though. The Royal Guards of the Gate closed the pathway. He stood and stared at everything around him. There were silver fences. Some green trees grew. There were also bushes that contained flowers. He looked back to Lionel. He could see that there was a huge fountain behind Lionel and his assistant. He was imaging himself to be playing in that fountain. He wanted to drink, and take a bath in it. It was plainly massive. A pat on his shoulder awakened him from his fantasy.
Come now, the Royal Guard, wearing a maroon uniform, dragged the kid to Lionel. This is Prince Lionel; he is the son of King Helio. He will be future king.
That was a cool intro you gave me, Lionel laughed.
Lord Lionel, watch your language! muttered the person behind Lionel. You must speak proper or your dear father will get mad at you again!
Pardon me, Dante. Do I sound well-behaved now? From time to time, I just inadvertently leave my manners in the mansion. Please, Sir Dante, why shouldnt I talk to him in a normal manner? Please? He is just like a kid like me,
No kid is like you, Lord Lionel. answered Sir Dante. He ruffled through his golden and fairly long hair. He didnt wear a shiny armor, although he is the son of the chief of sentinels. He wore a long coat that was red in color. Under his coat is a clean white chemise. Over this chemise was a silver chain mail. Among the holes between the chains, you can see the white shirt. He wore leather pants under metal leg armor.
Lionel stared deeply into Dantes eyes. He made a sad face. His face showed deep emotion and pity. Fine, Lord Lionel. I wont tell,
Thank you, Dante! said Lionel.
Anyway, Prince Lionel, this is Prince Maximillian. hissed the guard.
Lionel and Dante looked at each other. Both were very confused. What? He is a prince? asked Lionel inquisitively.
Yes, he is your cousin, Prince Lionel.
I-Im-Impossible! pronounced Dante. His clothes, his looks,
How can this be, added Lionel.
The King will tell you everything. Unfortunately, my job here is done, and I leave you with Prince Maximillian. The guard promptly left.
Oh, hi, Maximillian.
Hello, answered the dirty prince shyly. I see that you live in this paradise,
Yeah, this is my home, cheered Lionel.
I suppose we must go inside the mansion, now, my Lords. Sir Dante led the two children to the front of the mansion. They went up the stairs. Lionel didnt say a word. He was still in shock about the poor kid being a prince.
You have nice clothes, garbled Maximillian. I like em.
Well, thanks. They are made out of the most expensive threads around the world,
They halted for one second. In front of them was a gargantuan wooden and metal plated door. Sir Dante nodded his head to one of the guards, and the door opened. Yellow light flushed their eyes. They slowly went in.
The hallway was huge, too. The marble floor was designed with the same mark on Lionels ring.
Say, what is that sign? questioned Maximillian.
That is the Royal Insignia. That mark symbolizes this whole royal family. This is the Royal House of Denovolli. Do you see the big D on the symbol? Thats what it stands for. Royal families usually forget about their surnames and take their royal house as their names. But this family, being different, kept their original surnames. This is the Royal Family of Imperia.
The symbol was huge. There was a beautiful D behind the mark, and above it, a crown of gold and diamonds, and beside the D was an I. Beyond all these marks was a sun. A shining golden orange sun that represented Helio. It was as if the artist played with his brush and swiveled the paint all over. It was a masterpiece.

Chapter Two: The Throne
Follow me, Maximillian! yelled Lionel. He ran straight.
Lord Lionel, be careful! ordered Dante.
Lionel didnt care. He was still running. He glanced at his back. He saw that Maximillian tripped. He dashed to him and talked to him. Are you alright?
Yeah, I think so. I just tripped.
Its probably because of those ugly and dirty shoes. Look at em. They have holes in them. Nasty, scolded Lionel.
Sorry, I do not have any more shoes,
Dont worry, I am sure we will get you godly ones. assured Lionel. Now, come on! Lets go to the throne room! My dad is in there. Lionel sprinted. Behind him was Maximillian. Sometimes he had to stop because he was so amazed by the paintings on the wall, the designs of the ceiling and everything else.
Are we there yet? This place is so huge. My legs are already aching.
Nah, you will get used to it. About ten meters away was Sir Dante, panting.
Lords, what do you think your doing? Can we not walk?
Lionel stuck out his tongue to Dante. Its your fault. Your so slow and so old!
Dantes face grew red. His eyes opened wide. I AM NOT OLD! I AM ONLY TALLER ANDUh. OLDER THAN YOU. I AM NOT AS OLD AS YOUR FATHER. I AM ONLY 14 YEARS OLD OLDER THAN YOU!
14? Thats close to a hundred! Lionel and Maximillian giggled and started running again.
Here we are, Maximillian. This is the door to the Throne Room. The guards politely bowed to Lionel and they opened the gate.
Lionel slowly walked in. He heard the royal guard yell, Prince Lionel Denovolli of the House of Imperia.
Dante finally caught up with them. You little brats, he whispered. Maximillian imitated Lionel and stuck his tongue out to Dante. Take a good look around. This is the throne room. This is where the King and the Queen stay during day.
Maximillian looked around. He was deeply astonished by his surroundings. He looked up the ceiling. It was painted with pictures of people that he has never seen before. Some were winged creatures.. Not angels like he has seen before. It was different. He also saw a massive chandelier hanging. It was gold and diamond encrusted. It looked beautiful. He has never seen a chandelier like this one before. It glowed so bright and released pretty lights. It had tear-shaped crystals drooping from it, too. On the walls hung normal sized lamps that were silver plated. He walked to the center of the room where Lionel was.
In front of them, was three seats. One was elevated more than the other two. The two remaining thrones was below the biggest one. In the elevated one sat an aged man who had a fierce face. He had white hair and a beard. His hair reached his back. His beard was well-cut and his lips were thin. He had green eyes that stared into thin air. On his head was a crown. The crown was silver. And in it, diamonds and emeralds appeared. On top of the crown was a cross. The old man stood up slowly. He held in his right hand a staff. The staff was of the color orange. It was much like a spear, but instead of a tipped blade, it had a sun. The sun was gold, and it had curved rays. Who is this kid you have brought along, Lionel? asked the old man cheerfully.
Oh, grandfather, this is Maximillian. Prince Maximillian
Lionels grandfathers facial expression changed dramatically. He held his staff tightly and banged it against the floor. His eyes were bloodshot and his cheeks were red. Maximillian!? The pitiful son of Mateus? Look at him! He is as dirty as a pig! Get him out of my site! Throw him away!
Maximillian was scared. He went to the back of Dante. He was crying. His feelings were hurt really badly. He didnt understand. The old man was very nice when he asked but when he figured out who he was, he was raged.
Emperor Exodus, this is the long lost son of Prince Mateus. slurred the man behind the Emperor. The man seemed like he was the personal advisor of Lionels grandfather. He, like, Sir Dante, wore the same coat.
Dont you dare call Mateus a prince. He is gone now. He is banished from this house! He betrayed us, and that is what his son is going to do! Just look at him! I can sense his evil from here! said the Emperor.
The other man, about in his fortys, rose up. He wore a purple robe that was designed with abstract markings. On the back of his robe was the royal insignia. He had a crown, but it was not on his head. Rather, it was around his forehead. It was a gold crown, only studded with a few diamonds but hundreds of rubies. The crown, was also similar to a circlet. It met in the forehead of the King. It formed a elaborate sun on his forehead. On his side was a sheathed sword. Not much can be seen of the sword, as it was encased, but the hilt was long and dark yellow. The guard of the sword was different from common swords. The guard was a sun. It looked like the same sun in the carpet of his seat and the one in the royal insignia. It was circle, then its rays was curved, as if it was dancing. My Emperor Father, this is our relative. Mateus must have been.mislead, he is still my brother. Also, we never know. This child might be far from his father. He might be respectable and polite.
Preposterous! Look at him! His mother is nothing more than a free slave! His blood is dirty! A former prince who disobeyed the royal laws and a maid are his parents! Now, Victoria, calm your husband.
Victoria, the last person who didnt join in the argument was the queen. She was the wife of King Helios and was born in the Royal Family of Western Luns until she got married. She had kind hazel eyes. She wore a pink gown. She was tall and pretty. She looked strong yet calm and humble. She also bore a crown like the other two royalties. Her crown was simple yet it was dazzling with beauty. It was a silver crown, implanted with sapphires.
My dear love, and my dear Emperor, we should stop arguing. If you extremely want to decide this childs fate, then let us bring it to the Council.
Fine by my terms, answered King Helios, father of Lionel.
Agreed, hissed the Emperor. Gill, organize a Council Meeting. The Emperor ordered Gill, his personal guard and the head of all sentinels. Gill was the father of Dante. He was extremely skilled with fencing and hand-to-hand combat. He served the royal family for more than 20 years now. He is also not just a plain man. He was a Duke before he entered and served as a Royal Knight.

Chapter Three: The Council
After this angered scene, Dante took Maximillian to be cleaned. He took a shower, and the maids gave him some new clothes. The clothes he wore was pure silk, and it was very soft. He has never wore anything like it before. His hair was cut and combed by the maids, too.
Lionel met up with Maximillian. Hey Maximillian. Do you want to play in the pond? We cant go to the adults meeting. So how about it?
Uh, okay. answered Maximillian timidly.
In the other side of the mansion, Sir Gill gathered maids. Call all the Councilors for the meeting. This is an urgent matter. Thank you. Now, go!
Hey father, whispered Dante.
Oh, hello, son. What are you doing here? Arent you supposed to be with Lionel?
Yes, but I was wonderingWhat will happen to the kid?
I dont know. The Council will decide that.
You are part of the Council, dad.
I know,
What are you going to decide on?
I do not know..yet.
Let me in the details later, alright?
Maybe, now go aid the Prince!
After an hour, the King, Queen, and the Emperor went inside a chamber. The chamber was wisely hidden. To gain entry to the chamber, you would have to go to the southern part of the throne room. You will then push a statue of a winged figure, then the wall will slide. This chamber was carefully built and hidden to protect royal secrets. The Royal Heads went inside the chamber. Inside, they saw the Council Members sitting in their respected chairs. The three sat down and cleared their throats.
I hereby declare to start this meeting, and to establish the laws and foundations of this Royal House and the rules of this country into order. No word shall come out of this site we are in now. ordered the King.
We swear by the laws of Denovolli, swore everyone else.
They were all sitting in a round table, and on the other side of the room, there was a man. He had papers and machinery with him. His job was to record everything. He also started to preside, Todays Council Meeting will be regarding of the following: The Treatment of the Royal by Blood, son of Mateus, Later Prince, and the announcement of Alliances from foreign relations. Councilors that are present are, The announcer looks up to the round table and waited.
King Helios, main ruler of Denovolli, son of Exodus III.
Emperor Exodus, head of the Royal Family of Imperia.
Queen Victoria, wife of King Helios, representing the women all over.
Cardinal Lance, head of all monasteries, where Squires are trained, The High Bishop was about sixty-four years old. He wore a miter, a ceremonial headdress that is a pointed hat that creased across the top. He wore a white robe.

Sir Gill, previous Duke of Westernia, Head of the Royal Knights, High Mentor and Trainer of the House of Knights, Chief of the Royal Sentinels, personal shields of the Crown.
General Williams, Commander of Royal Knights, the guardians of the House of Imperia.

Senator Lankol The three senators wore white cloaks with an outline of brown. They each had a short rod. The rods mainly look similar but their points were the only part that was different.
Judge Arthur, head of foreign trade, Arthur was in charge of foreign duties. He held a staff that had a yellow eagle perched on it.
Chief Justice James, head of Jurisdiction,
Minister Scein, Minister of Arithmetic, head of Science, Scein had a long robe with a high collar. His robe had expensive clothes. Anyone can see a mark of a dagger behind the robes. There were two of them. In his hand was a pole. The pole had sharp and pointy end. Scein was the administrator of all the Arithmeticians. They expert in making war strategies, inventing new potions, and medicine. They are also excellent war players. They do not fight, yet they plan everything beforehand.
Commander Aloyscious , head of aerial and ranged forces.
Administrator Medial, head of orators and healers.
I see, everyone is present. Well then, let us start, alleged the King.
The issue is that what we do with this kid, the son of Maximillian, murmured Gill.
We will be put into a vote afterwards. said the Queen.
I do not see any problem with treating him as a prince. I mean, he is only a mere kid. says Cardinal Lance. His face seemed so calm and peaceful. It wasnt a surprise from someone who worked for the church for more than 40 years.
No, your Holiness, I am afraid that you are wrong. This kid is a seeded from a pathetic person. He is from bad roots. says High Bishop Bartholemew.
People do bad things; let us not forget that we can, in fact, forgive.
I say I agree with his Holiness. This kid has not done anything wrong. He is nothing but a mere normal child, says Senator David.
I am here to represent the security of the Crown and put in mind the dangers that this act, if approved, will affect the Crown. So far, I say yes. We should keep this kid. He cannot possibly hurt us. adds Sir Gill.
I would disagree, your Excellency, what if this kid goes bad like his father!? counters General Williams.
For goodness sake! Keep an open mind, now, will you? Look at me, look at my father! We are nothing alike! proclaims King Helios.
That is not so good, says the Emperor.
After three hours of continuous arguments, the Council has been left to voting.
The Council has reached into a conclusion. There has been a compromise about the child. To the Emperors rule, he brings up that this kid shall not be called Prince, but that is the only way that he is going to live here. Everyone has agreed to the terms. Maximillian will serve as an important person, but not royalty. He will be taught manners, swordsmanship and of others. Now the meeting is adjourned. announced the man in the separate desk.
